The best start of our holiday we could get. Getting an impression of historic Tórshavn, the people living here and the good ideas they have to let us enjoy and get a feeling of the life they have. A very good combination of getting information about the city and having stops to taste lokal and specisl food. Heðin, our guide gave us all the stories behind it and that was amazing. Heðin is such a good guide with a lot of knowledge, very kind and friendly. I can absolutely recommend this trip.

Niklas took our family out for an evening fishing trip for his first fishing trip of the season. He allowed my son to navigate the ship on our way out. We caught a nice assortment of fish including Colts, Haddock and Whiting. Niklas provided us some treats and hot tea and soda while we were fishing as well. The fresh fish tasted great that evening. It was a great experience and highly recommend using Niklas if you want to go out fishing in the Faroe Islands .

A fantastic tour. Elsa Maria has such a wealth of knowledge about the Faroe Islands and knew just where to go to see the best scenery. We also stopped for an excellent meal. I will absolutely use Elsa Maria as a guide the next time I am here. Also Guide To The Faroe Islands is THE place to book tours and activities - they even have a kiosk at the airport. Great customer service and communication. Highly recommended.

A delightful and picturesque hike in wintry but walkable conditions. I had a wonderful time taking in the sights, learning more about Faroese culture and history - and of course, enjoying some delicious beers and a tasty snack alongside the occasional sheep encounter! A great experience on offer by local Jens that I wholeheartedly recommend. Takk fyri!

We had our private tour. We've got a lot of information about the history and production of this cosy distillery. There was a tasting of Dome high class spirits and we loved all of them.

What you get is a three-hours super interesting stroll through Torshavn where you discover amazing food-spots, most of them hidden gems we wouldt’d have found ourselves. You get a glimpse and taste in history and traditions as well as in modern life an culture in the Faroys. Heðin is fantastic, friendly and funny guide, busting with stories and love for his country. He also gave us lots of great tips fort the rest of our stay – from restaurant and shopping recommendations to even where to get tickets for the handball match in the evening. ;-) If you think about booking this tour, do it!

I had an amazing tour in the Faroe Islands with Petur.

He is incredibly knowledgeable about the Faroe Islands and shared so many interesting insights throughout the day. Since it was a small group tour, it felt very personal and welcoming, which made the experience even more special.

He took us efficiently to many breathtaking viewpoints, which was perfect for me as I had limited time during my stay.

My flight the next morning has been delayed due to strong winds, and I’m currently at the airport—but I feel very lucky that we had some sunshine during the tour!

I would definitely love to have Petur as my guide again when I return to the Faroe Islands.

Jeg hadde en utrolig flott og hyggelig tur i solskinn over fjellet til Kirkjubøur med Jens som kjentmann. Han hadde med velsmakende tradisjonsbakst og lokalt øl, og kunne fortelle så mangt om både lokalhistorie, geografi og samfunnsforhold. Turen var grei å gå, og utsynet var spektakulært! Jeg anbefaler turen med Jens som guide på det varmeste!

Amazing trip! Logistics were clear and smooth. Guide(s) had so much to share beyond the amazing environment and food about local history, politics, culture and economy. Loved the lack of crowds by visiting in Winter!

One of the best experiences I had during my trip! Randi was an incredible host. Even though it was a grey, rainy day in the Faroe Islands, she kindly spent seven hours showing me around the island - and the weather didn’t matter at all. Her knowledge of the Faroe Islands was outstanding, and she made me feel completely taken care of throughout the day. This was me and my girlfriends best experience on the Faroes, by far!
With not much previous experience of kayaking we got some great tips and help from Michael. We also got to see some of the most stunning views that is not reachable without kayaking to the waterfall. He was very social, friendly, helpful and kindhearted which made us feel at ease and enjoy the experience to the max. I highly recommend booking the kayaks, you won’t regret it and you will have memories for life. Thank you Michael!

Me and my girlfriend had such a great hiking experience with Jens as our guide. From the start, he was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to, which made the whole day feel relaxed and enjoyable. It honestly felt like hiking with someone you’ve known for a long time rather than just a guide.
Jens is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions, no matter what we asked about. He shared interesting facts along the way without ever making it feel like a lecture — everything felt natural and engaging. You could really tell that he knows the area well and genuinely enjoys sharing it with others.
The route was absolutely beautiful. We hiked through stunning nature with amazing views, and Jens made sure we could take our time to enjoy the surroundings. The pace was perfect — not too fast, not too slow — and he was always attentive to us.
Overall, it was a fantastic day and one we’ll remember for a long time. We’re so grateful we had Jens as our guide and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a wonderful hiking experience.

The trip is really good! And I do enjoy everything in Faroe island! I definitely will come back during summer time.

I couldn't recommend the tour more--a friend had recommended it to me. Our delightful guide, local Jens Peter drove us about on a very wet and windy day, but he managed to follow the eye of the storm most of the time, which meant we were still able to get out to wander about and take photographs etc. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of this spectacular, very special part of the world, and answered all our questions. One of the many highlights was lunch at Fiskastykkið, an old fish-drying warehouse, and now a really beautiful restaurant with local-sourced produce. Thank you, Jens Peter, for the perfect introduction to your beautiful country.
