Welcome to Faroe Islands

We had SUCH a good day with our very personal guide on this tour which really did focus on highlights from south to north. Not only were we able to experience some of the things we had read about but also had many questions answered by our guide who was exceptionally well informed and provided some very interesting statistics. Our trip would not have been complete without this wonderful day. Thank you!

We joined a walking tour of Tórshavn at the beginning of August 2025, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide Jens led us through the city center (the parliament, the cathedral, the old town) and brought each place to life with engaging stories and insights. He was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, happily answering all our questions about the history, education, economy, tunnels, fishing.. in the Faroe Islands. Jens even extended the tour so we wouldn’t miss anything and made sure all our curiosities were addressed. This walking tour is an excellent way to get to know the Faroe Islands, and thanks to Jens’s storytelling and thoughtful answers, we left with a much deeper appreciation of these beautiful and unique islands.

I had an all around wonderful time exploring the streets, sites, stories and history of Torshavn and Faroe Islands with JH. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly and helped give a much better understanding of the country and people.

We had the best experience with Jens during our Walking Tour in the city centre of Tórshavn this week! Jens was really attentive to the historical details of the country, the city, the Faroese people, and getting to know about the funeral news on TV for me was just mind blowing!! We were an international group visiting the country for the first time and can highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for getting a deeper knowledge of the Faroe Islands and the best spots to visit in the other Islands. It felt very intime, like friends showing around the city to each other.
