The main attraction on the island of Hestur is the mystical caves on the east side of the island. Both Eggjarrók and Múlin reaches exactly 421 metres above sea level and these two peaks are the highest points on the island.
The island Koltur has a beautiful and striking shape. Koltur is the second smallest island in the Faroe Islands. Its highest point is the monumental cone-shaped peak of Kolturshamar also called Uppi á Oyggj (477 m). Rising steeply and intensely green out of the sea during summer, it dominates any view of the island.
Koltur has been visited by only few people. Number of inhabitants living on Koltur island: 1 person.
Klæmintsgjóv is the world's largest sea-cave. This extraordinary cave measures 348.000 cubic metres. The cave is on the east side of the island Hestur.
