Join an experienced tour guide for a day. You will be taken to those places that you want to experience the most.

Everything is included in this day tour so simply book the tour and let your tour guide show you top attractions in the Faroe Islands. Here is how a day tour can look like.

The Island of Vágar is very beautiful and has a lot of unspoiled spots. You will be picked up at your accommodation in the morning and head for all the best attractions on Vágar island.

The village of Gásadalur (Goose valley) is one of the most sought-after settlements in the Faroe Islands. Until 2005 when the tunnel opened, Gásadalur was a very remote place with only a few inhabitants. Since then and as a result of the beauty a lot of people now travel to the village to see the beautiful nature, and of course the famous waterfall, Múlafossur, made famous by National Geographic. From Gásadalur you have a perfect view to the islet Gáshólmur. You will also see the island of Mykines in the horizon.

Next in line is the small village Bøur with only 75 inhabitants. You will visit the church dated back to 1865 and take a walk in this cozy village and the sandy beach. From Bøur you will head to Trælanípan and Bøsdalafossur a six to seven kilometer very easy walk on the path made for the purpose.

Trælanípan is a high and very picturesque place and the same goes for Bøsdalafossur at the end of the largest fresh water lake in the Faroes, Leitisvatn. It is often described by visitors as the hanging lake. The story of Trælanípan is rather special. The name translates to The Slave Cliff and the name goes back to the old days when the farmer had slaves and there were no social securities. So when the slaves were worn down they were pushed over the edge at Trælanípan. The final stop on the trip is Trøllkonufingur - The Witch's Finger. Now, you will be taken back to your accommodation.

Now, this is just an example of how your day tour can look like. The toru guide will tailor-make the tour for you so just let your guide know what you want to experience once you have booked this Nature Day Tour.
