You are going to love this place to the mountains and back.Norðradalur is a large plain surrounded by high grass-covered mountains on three sides. Standing at the pass is breathtaking. This is a magical place in the Faroe Islands and it feels rewarding to reach Norðradalsskarð on a bike whether rain is falling from the sky or the sun shines through the clouds.After enjoying the view, plant your feet on the pedals of the FELT VR6 road bike and slide your way down Oyggjarvegin. This time you will have a great view to the southern part of the islands and return to Tórshavn.Your average speed on this adventurous tour is approximately 15-20 km/h out of straight road. Bike to Kirkjubøur

Join this classic road cycling tour to the turf-roofed village of Kirkjubøur. Kirkjubøur is the historical religious centre of the Faroe Islands and home to the ruins of the largest cathedral on the islands.You will bike through Tórshavn city centre and past the district of Norðasta Horn and across the mountain pass Velbastaðháls (190m.) to Kirkjubø. In Kirkjubø you will visit the Magnus Cathedral and Olav church and Kirkjubøargarður (the King's farmhouse). The farmhouse dates back to the 11th century and legend has it that the house was moved from Norway to the Faroe Islands by viking ships.  There is a beautiful view of Kikjubø-islet, the islands of Sandoy, Hestur, Koltur, and Vágar. When you return to Tórshavn, you will bike through the town of Velbastað, where the houses cling to the steep slopes, follow the road across the mountain pass Velbastaðháls, along the ring road to the seaside and back to where you started.Average speed is approx. 15-20 km/h out of straight road. You will ride the hills up and down at our own pace. There will be collecting on top and bottom. Biking distance for this tour is 30km.We will provide you with a bike, a helmet as well as water and energy bars and our knowledgable guide will lead the way. The tour is relatively easy and can be done by anyone.The tour starts at Havnargøta 11 in Tórshavn, at 14 o’clock. The location is right opposite the Torshavn Ferry Terminal.
