The Classic Tour of Vágar

Experience all the classic locations on Vágar, hence the name :) This tour is for those who want to maximise their experience on Vágar Island. So you'll see, Sørvágsvatn, also known as Leitisvatn lake (Lake above the Ocean), you will hike to Trælanípa (the optical illusion spot), Bøsdalafossur (the biggest waterfall in the North Atlantic ocean). You'll then go to the village of Bøur and see the beautiful traditional old church there, and walk between the cute old traditional turf houses where you sometimes see sheep eating grass on top of, and see the architecture and building styles. In Bøur you'll go to the beach there overlooking Drangarnir (the island with the hole in the middle) and Tindhólm (the very narrow island til all the pointy fingers at the top). Finally you'll head to Gásadalur and see the beautiful waterfall Múlafossur that you see on all the postcards. Here you'll see puffins nesting and other birds as well. The tour is 4 hours and the price is calculated after that hour number. We have built this tour so that it is jam packed full with jaw-dropping sights. We cover as much seight-seeing as possible in these 4 hours. Sometimes we need to drop a small part out of the hike, if people are too slow at hiking or need to take too many brakes, which we totally understand. Typically it's the waterfall Bøsdalafossur that we take out of the hike. This is very rare but it is a decision we sometimes need to take in order to keep the timetable and price. You can add a lunchbox for 150 DKK pr person. It includes: Faroese bottled water or hot tee/coffee (you decide. The hot drinks are the bestsellers, since you can drink the water out if the freshwater springs that we will pass by). Some traditional Faroese Food, some classic food, fruit, and something sweet. You can do the Classic Tour any day at 10am. You will meet the guide at the gas station Magn in the village of Miðvágur.  Book this tour and you will go on this exciting adventure on the beautiful island of Vágar :) Check availability by choosing a date.

The Popular Vestmanna Bird Cliffs

Step right up to join this tour to see the famous caves and bird cliffs in Vestmanna. Jump on the bus in Tórshavn and drive along the mountain road to the village of Vestmanna. You will join the tour with the most experienced excursion company in the Faroe Islands with more than 35 years of experiences. When you enter Vestmanna, it is time for a two hour boat trip to the Vestmanna Sea Cliffs. The towering birdcliffs North of Vestmanna are one of the most famous attractions. You will sail through narrow straits into deep caves, shaped by the surf for millions of years, and close to the high cliffs rising some 600 metres above sea level where thousands of seabirds breed. Exploring the cliffs by the coastline of Vestmanna is a breathtaking experience. You will see free standing rock formations, caves, and deep gorges. Being in the middle of this stunning scenery will give you a sinking feeling. Weather permitting, the boat will sail into the dark and emerge on the other side of caves.  Make sure to look up at the grassy gradients near the top where you will see sheep balancing on the near precipitous slopes. The many birds and sometimes also seals make the Vestmanna Sea Cliffs experience even greater.  Vestmanna is the second largest village on Streymoy island. The village is situated in an amphitheatric look-alike bay and surrounded by mountains. The bay has always been a good shelter from the unpredictable weather in the Faroe Islands. After your boat trip to the breathtaking bird cliffs, you will head back South and stop by the village Kvívík where you will be told stories about the Viking settlement.  Kvívík is nestled in a picturesque valley with steep mountain sides.
