Bus terminal TórshavnThe Tórshavn Bus Terminal is situated at the harbour in Tórshavn. The national bus and ferry service, Strandfaraskip Landsins, operates a well run bus service that runs between Tórshavn and the towns and villages and if you want to take a bus out of town you will find it at the Tórshavn Bus Terminal.

You will want to look for the blue buses (The Tórshavn City buses are red). It is easy as a pie to get to the different corners of the Faroe Islands from Farstøðin as the bus terminal is known by the Faroe Islanders.

The bus terminal is a 5 minutes walk from the main square Vaglið in the capital, Tórshavn. The old grass roofed government buildings Tinganes in the oldest district in the city also lies a 5 minutes walk from the Tórshavn bus terminal. Just beside the bus terminal, you will find the Skansin fort and the lighthouse there.
